Eight cabinet secretaries shown the door

The PMO is set to transfer eight additional secretaries to the government of India who were close to UPA ministers. What we understand so far is that two are from the finance ministry, while one each are from Commerce, Petroleum and Surface Transport. Before leaving for the US, Modi got 48 Joint Secretaries moved from their present portfolio.

The decision make in the wake of information that the officers were leaking key information not only to corporate houses but also to former UPA ministers.
