A Sri Lankan national, who was found to be passing vital information to Pakistan, was arrested by the National Investigation Agency in Hyderabad.

A'run Selvarajan is alleged to be part of the Pakistani Inter Services Intelligence's Colombo wing which was set up to target South India. Selvarajan, according to the NIA, was passing information about sensitive installations in Hyderabad.

In May, the NIA had arrested a Sri Lankan national, Sakir Hussain, who was plotting attacks in South India. Selvarajan's name cropped up following the NIA investigation into the Sakir Hussain case.
