12 injured as 4.5 quake strikes Pakistan

At least 12 people were injured today when an earthquake of 4.5 magnitude jolted Pakistan's southern Sindh Province.

The earthquake struck Nawabshah district and its adjoining areas in the province, causing panic and forcing people to come out on streets. Residents from Lahore, Nankana and Sheikhupura also headed to open spaces after receiving reports of the tremors. About 12 people have been injured and shifted to a nearby hospital, rescue officials said.
