Zero-tolerance against any kind of targeting: Govt to African envoys

Ministry of External Affairs today received a report by African envoys expressing concern over attacks on their nationals, prompting the government to assure them that there was "zero-tolerance" against targeting of any particular nationality and necessary action will taken in the matter. 

"We have received a communication from the African envoys. We have assured them that there is zero-tolerance against any kind of targeting nationals. And police was probing the matter and necessary action will be taken in this regard," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said.
