BJP, Sena feel they should govern together in Maharashtra: Fadnavis

After weeks of negotiations, the BJP and the Shiv Sena are close to reaching an understanding. And the understanding is this -- the Sena is likely to join the Maharashtra government headed by Devendra Fadnavis.

The Maharashtra CM said today that the Sena was part of the NDA at the Centre. "We have decided the Shiv Sena should also be a part of the Maharashtra government. Both the BJP and the Shiv Sena have a feeling that they should govern together in Maharashtra," Fadnavis said.

Fadnavis is all set to carry out the cabinet expansion ahead of the crucial winter session beginning in Nagpur on December 8.
