Tarun Tejpal at Times of India Litfest

Almost a year to the day after Tarun Tejpal, one of India's most-prominent journalists, was accused of sexually assaulting one of his reporters, The Times of India has invited him to appear at their literature festival on a panel titled The Tyranny of Power.

Tejpal, the former editor-in-chief of Tehelka magazine, was arrested in December 2013 and charged with rape in February. He denies wrongdoing and is currently on bail awaiting trial. Read
