Haryana police confirm godman Rampal inside ashram

SN Vashist (DGP, Haryana) holds a press meet on the clashes outside Baba Rampal's ashram in Hisar. He says there was resistance from the ashram and Rampal's supporters and two cops were shot and are in hospital. "We think that the Baba is inside the ashram," he says. Supporters of Rampal have acid sticks and stones says Vashisht.

NDTV's Vishnu Som tweets that two policemen are in hospital with gunshot injuries from supporters.

Yesterday, the Haryana government asked all the followers and devotees of Rampal to vacate the Satlok Ashram as soon as possible as the Punjab and Haryana High Court issued non-bailable warrant against the baba. It also used a helicopter to drop pamphlets, bearing this message, in the ashram.
