Sena to meet governor over illegitimate Fadnavis govt

Just in: The Shiv Sena will meet Maharashtra governor C Vidyasagar Rao at 4:30 pm today.

The Congress and the Shiv Sena - which are the main opposition party in Maharashtra will send a representation to the governor protesting against the Speaker, Haribhau Bagde's decision not to hold a division vote, in which legislators press buttons on a voting machine to record their votes, which are then counted. Both the parties have demanded a fresh trust vote and have called the government illegitimate.
