Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the East Asia Summit in Myanmar on Thursday, a day after he met Southeast Asian leaders during the 12th ASEAN-India summit.

He is also likely to hold bilateral talks with the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and meet several other leaders.

Modi is currently on a 10-day visit to Myanmar, Australia and Fiji.

The United States President Barack Obama met Modi yesterday during the Gala dinner at the 12th ASEAN-India summit and called him a man of action.

This was the second meeting between the leaders of the two countries in six weeks. Modi had met Obama during his visit to the US in September.
