Sensex hits 28,000 for first tme as record rally continues

And back in India...The Sensex today breached the 28,000-mark for the first time in early trade. The Nifty too rose to 8,363, also a new high.

The Sensex and NSE Nifty have hit a new high for the fourth consecutive session, buoyed by growing optimism about Indian economy. The announcement of stimulus measures from Bank of Japan on Friday also boosted the sentiment.
