After Trilokpuri, communal tension grips Delhi's Bawana area

Days after Trilokpuri area witnessed communal clashes, tensions are simmering in Delhi's Bawana region where Hindu residents on Sunday took part in a a mahapanchayat demanding a bar on taziya procession to be held by Muslims on Muharram (November 04).

In Bawana, Hindu, Muslims colonies are separated by a drain and people from the minority community are expected to take out the procession on Muharram from the Hindu colony, whose residents are opposed to it.
