37 killed, 70 injured in blast near Wagah border

At least 37 people have been reported killed and 70 injured in a blast in a parking lot near the Wagah border post on the Pakistani side.

Pakistani media outlet Dawn News reported that the Rangers had cordoned off the for security reasons.

It also claimed that many shops and nearby buildings destroyed due to blast, which it suspected to be the handiwork of a suicide bomber.

Security and rescue personnel have rushed to the site of the blast. The injured have been rushed to hospital.
