Five-member EC if NDA comes to power

If NDA returns to power, the speculation is that the Election Commission will be made into a five-member body. There has been criticism over its style of functioning during the poll season especially a lack of coordination and communication. The NDA feels that the three-member body of EC should be enhanced to five members for smooth functioning.
