Former MP Jagdish Tytler, whose candidature was withdrawn by the Congress in the last Lok Sabha polls due to protests over his alleged role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, today filed his nomination for the Northeast Lok Sabha seat under Rahul Gandhi's pet primaries project.

The constituency, being represented by Jai Prakash Agarwal, today witnessed two other nominations -- that of Agarwal and Rajesh Lalotia, a former MLA from Patel Nagar.

"Party leaders Jagdish Tytler, Jai Prakash Agarwal and Rajesh Lolotia today filed their nominations for Northeast Lok Sabha seat under primaries project, an experiment by Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi. Candidates can withdraw their nominations till March 6. Subsequently, the voting will be held on March 11 for this seat," said a party representative.
