Subrata Roy tells the Supreme Court that from tomorrow the sale of properties of the Sahara group can begin to make payments to SEBI, but the court turns down the proposal. He said so far the Sahara group has given SEBI over Rs 5000 crore but just Rs 1 crore has been disbursed.

Roy also said he was willing to give bank guarantees in three to four months.

He also told the court that the reason for not appearing in court was genuine and would like to be pardoned.

Getting emotional in court, Roy tells the judges, "With folded hands please consider the 12 lakh employees of the Sahara group."
