A new cabsec?

The NDA leadership is reportedly not too happy with Cabinet Secretary Ajit Seth, according to insiders. At times, during presentations and summing up of disputes and controversies, there is no bureaucratic input from him to resolve them, they say, which is required by the prime minister.

The buzz is that after the Budget session of Parliament there is a possibility of the government naming Rajiv Mehrishi, presently Rajasthan chief secretary, as the next cabsec.

No wonder Mehrishi has been seen more in New Delhi than in Jaipur, comment his batch mates.
