Jailed BJP leader Yaswant Sinta gets bail

Senior BJP leader Yaswant Sinha granted bail after spending two weeks in jail.

He was held in connection with a case of alleged assault on a government official during a BJP-sponsored demonstration in Ranchi on June 2.

Sinha had refused to pay bail, claiming he will not come out of jail till the electricity situation improves in Jharkhand.
