UK's first football match-fixing case: Two guilty

Two businessmen have been found guilty of conspiracy to commit bribery in the first criminal case in the UK related to match-fixing in football. Chann Sankaran and Krishna Ganeshan, both from Singapore, were convicted of conspiracy to commit bribery at Birmingham Crown Court.Jurors cleared footballer Hakeem Adelakun of the same charge.
