Three governors including Margaret Alva to meet Pranab today

In the wake of two resignations, three other governors will be meeting President Pranab Mukherjee for suggestions over their continuance.
Karnataka governor, Hansraj Bharadwaj, Assam governor Janaki Ballan Patnaik and Rajasthan governor Margret Alva will make their way to the Rashtrapati Bhavan today. Their meeting assumes significance after West Bengal governor MK Narayanan and UP governor BL Joshi submitted their resignations this morning. The BJP government is keen to have their own nominees in Raj Bhavans, and Narayanan and Joshi were UPA appointees.
