Yashwant Sinha wants to be projected as the BJP's chief ministerial candidate for Jharkhand, which is why he is not seeking bail after being arrested for protesting against the present government there.

If Sinha's wish were to come true, it could pose a real political challenge not only for BJP president Rajnath Singh but also his successors, apart from being a real test for Modi.

The reason being, a quiet regrouping is now taking place within the BJP, on the lines of the earlier 'minus 160 group' formed against Modi during the election campaign.
