Mother, daughter attacked with rods, robbed on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Just in: Highway robbers attack a mother and daughter on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The women were beaten with iron rods and dragged out of the car by their hair. While both are out of danger, the robbers have not yet been nabbed. The robbers escaped with valuables worth Rs 1.25 lakh. An FIR has been registered in the case. Details awaited.
