Bengal: 45 taken ill after consuming poisonous food

At least 45 persons, including several children, were taken ill after consuming poisonous food served after a religious function in West Bengal's Midnapore (West) district today.

Official sources said the incident happened at Sakhajora where a religious function was held Sunday night.

On Monday, food which was being left over were served to the persons after which they fell ill.
