Ranjit Kumar assumes charge as Solicitor General

Senior advocate Ranjit Kumar on Monday assumed charge as the Solicitor General of India. The government has also appointed six additional Solicitor Generals -- senior advocates Maninder Singh, L Nageshwar Rao, Tushar Mehta, P S Patwalia, Neeraj K Kaul and P S Narasimha.
