4 cops who abandoned SP during Assam encounter suspended

Four police personnel from the Hamren police station in Assam have been suspended after they were found to have abandoned Superintendent of Police Nityananda Goswami and his personal security officer who died during an encounter with tribal militants on Thursday night.
