Gadkari gets charge of Munde's ministries

President Pranab Mukherjee, as advised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed that Nitin Gadkari, the Union minister of road transport, highways and shipping, shall be given additional charge of the ministries of rural development, panchayati raj and drinking water & sanitation, a Rashtrapati Bhavan press release has said.

The ministries were under Gopinath Munde, who died in a car accident in New Delhi on Tuesday.
