Suspected burglar lynched by mob in Mumbai

A suspected burglar was lynched by a mob when he was caught trying to break into a local shop by residents of Abhyudayanagar at Cotton Green in central Mumbai, police said today.

According to police, one of the attackers has been arrested on the charge of murder.

A police officer at Kalachowkie police station in central Mumbai said the incident took place at Abhyudayanagar at Cotton Green in the early hours of Friday when the victim was trying to break into a local shop.
