Pakistans future is linked to Afghanistans stability

With the United States and its allies pulling out their troops from Afghanistan, the stakes have never been higher for Pakistan, which has faced a spate of attacks from the angry Taliban in the recent months.   

Islamabad has little choice but to hold talks with the Taliban, as elements in its very own Inter Services Intelligence as well as citizens living in the virtually lawless tribal areas bordering Afghanistan hold strong links with the fundamentalist outfit.
