The too-most echelon of India's politics is made up of people who have had close, and rich, relatives who have been in politics for decades.

A close scrutiny of the fortunes declared by candidates whose families have been dabbling in politics for years shows that they are wealthier than even the most prosperous businessmen in the electoral fray.

How long will India's voters put up with leaders who are simply incapable of understanding their problems and grievances?
