The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has been served a notice to pay Rs 3.90 lakh as damages for vandalising toll booths.

The recovery notice has been served by the Mumbai collector.

MNS activists went on a rampage last week after their chief Raj Thackeray ordered them not to pay the levy and "thrash" those who demanded it. They even vandalised the toll booth at the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai.
