BJP MLA from Kota North Prahlad Gunjal, who was suspended by the party for allegedly threatening a senior district health official, organised a public meeting in his constituency, saying he has not committed a serious crime as Congress leaders have done.

Addressing a meeting of his supporters in Kunadhi area of his constituency yesterday, Gunjal expressed respect to BJP high command's decision, and said "he has not committed a crime like murder or rape as Congress leaders have done.

" Gunjal said "he had spoken only for his workers for whom he lives and can die". Meanwhile, Ladpura MLA Bhawani Singh Rajawat, who has also come under attack of opposition parties for allegedly threatening voters to cast in his favour during November's local body elections, today organised a 'Ulhaas Utsav' in Nayapura area, saying he spoke nothing wrong with voters.

"I did not threat the voters but tried to convince them," he said.
