Why Dr Karan Singh was unhappy today

Senior Congress MP Dr Karan Singh looked particularly unhappy in Rajya Sabha today when many of his party MPs shouted slogans and rushed to the well of the house. Dr Singh asked party MP Anand Sharma to get the MPs back to their seats so that the Leader of the House can speak and find a solution to end the deadlock. No one listened to Dr Singh.

Dr Singh shut his ears as the MPs shouting in the well of the house rose to a crescendo. The house has been adjourned for several days over the conversion issue.
