Wish I could be with parents, tweets J-K CM Omar Abdullah

After casting his vote in the Sonowar constituency, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted that he was missing his parents. Taking to Twitter, he said, "My thoughts are with my parents as they both prepare for surgery today. I wish I could be there with them but that wasn't to be."

The 77-year-old President of the ruling National Conference has been in the United Kingdom for treatment of failing kidneys for the last four months.
