Union Minority Affairs Minister suggests self defence training for girls

Union Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptulla has said that girls need to be given self defence training.

Addresing a national convention on women and child rights in Bhubaneshwar, Heptulla said the Central government under the leadership of Narendra Modi has rightly stressed on development of all in society including women, children, differently abled and weaker sections.

Heptulla suggested that efforts should be made to impart safety training to girls.
