The Uber cab driver, accused of raping a 25-year-old executive working for a global company, has more cases against him.

Shiv Kumar Yadav (32) was arrested in Mathura on Sunday, and has spent seven months in jail in a rape case in 2011 as well. He was later acquitted in that case.

It has now been revealed that Yadav was booked in another rape case in 2013, a molestation case in 2009 and was held under the Arms Act in 2006. Yadav was given bail in all these cases.

The Delhi Police registered an FIR against Uber officials and arrest is likely in the case. Home minister Rajnath Singh has also asked all states and Union Territories to consider banning internet-based taxi services.
