Congress says the prime minister has to explain the sadhvi's remarks and a simple apology is unacceptable.

Finance minister Arun Jaitley says that the minister has apologised and the law will take its own course.

The BJP has also said that the PM has condemned the sadhvi's remarks at the party's parliamentary meet.
