Muslims, Christians are all sons of Ram, says Modi's minister

Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti sparked a controversy by saying Muslims and Christians are all sons of Ram. She added that those who do not believe this, do not belong to this country.

On Monday, she used expletives against rival political parties. She said, "Narendra Modi's mantra is not to indulge in corruption and not let others to be a part of it. It is for you to decide, whether you want to vote for those who believe in Ram or those who are or those who are illegitimately born?"

Later, when asked to clarify, she said she wasn't targetting any one community but attacking separatists and terrorists in the country.
