Ram Madhav made general secretary in Amit Shah's new team

Varun Gandhi has been dropped as BJP's general secretary in the reshuffle of the party. In his place, party president Amit Shah has appointed one of BJP's newest entrants Ram Madhav, formerly of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. In addition, Shah has retained J P Nadda, Rajiv Paratap Rudy, Murlidhar Rao and Ramlal as general secretaries.
