Expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh today lashed out at BJP for suspending his son Manvendra Singh, calling it an act of "revenge" and warned that the party will have to face consequences for the "injustice" meted out to him.

Singh, who is contesting Lok Sabha election as an Independent from Barmer constituency, told reporters that he was disappointed with the development and people of the state were aware as to who was behind the "conspiracy".

"BJP will have to face its consequences," he said.

BJP yesterday suspended Manvendra, BJP MLA from Sheo constituency in Barmer, from its primary membership and removed him from its National Executive following reports that he was campaigning against the party's official candidate in Barmer.
