Smriti Irani praises 'youth magnet' Modi

Praising Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for his hard work and good governance, a senior BJP leader has said the party's prime ministerial candidate is the "youth magnet" of India.

Addressing party supporters at a meeting of Indian American youth and women in Tampa, Florida, BJP spokesperson Smriti Irani said, "We have now one of the most...youth magnet as the prime ministerial candidate and his name is Narendra Modi."

"Modi today symbolises the youth of the country, the fact that if you have talent, if you can work hard then you have the possibility of becoming the next prime minister of India," Irani said in response to a question from the audience at the panel discussion organised by the Overseas Friends of BJP.
