Live! PM in Muzaffarnagar: Those behind violence should be punished

The PM and Sonia Gandhi are at a relief camp in Bassi Kalan in Muzaffarnagar. Rahul Gandhi and MoS Home RPN Singh are accompanying them. The UP government, meanwhile, has told the Supreme Court that all steps are being taken to curtail violence and provide relief to stranded people caught in the Muzaffarnagar violence.

The PM says that those behind the violence should be punished. He said the state government should ensure the safety of its people.
