After criticism of hunt for buried gold, Narendra Modi's conciliatory tweet

After attacking the government for allegedly ordering a treasure hunt for buried gold on the basis of a sage or sadhu's dream, Narendra Modi is trying to propitiate the followers of the sage, Shobhan Sarkar.

He tweeted today, "Sant Shobhan Sarkar ke prati anek varshon se lakhon logion ki shradha judi hui hai, main unki tapasya aur tyag ko pranam karta hun (Faith of lakhs of people is associated with Shobhan Sarkar since many years. I salute his sacrifice)." Full story on NDTV.com
