US ship with armed guards detained at Tuticorin; no papers authorising possession of arms

The Indian Coast Guard on Friday intercepted and detained a vessel belonging to a US-based firm off the coast of Kanyakumari. MV Seaman Guard had 10 crew and 25 armed security guards on board.
