Kyazaoonga.com shows server error before Sachin's tickets sale
November 11, 2013  10:41
Minutes before the sale of tickets for Sachin Tendulkar's 200th Test match at Wankhede were to go live on kyazoonga.com, the ticketing site, it seems, is unable to handle the traffic that must be flooding it. The sale was supposed to start at 11 am today.

Repeated attempts to access the site were either unsuccessful, or resulted in an error message that said:

'Server Error in '/' Application.   A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server).

The total capacity of the Wankhede Stadium is around 33,000 out of which 5000 tickets will be available to the general public for the West Stand, North Stand and Sachin Tendulkar stand.

The general public can purchase any of the three category of tickets -- Rs 500, Rs 1000 and Rs 2500.

Taking into account the huge demand for tickets, the MCA has said that only two tickets per person can be booked online.

However, we are sure the site will be up and running soon.
