We have NOTHING to hide: Sonia at UPA dinner
May 22, 2013  22:26
Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday claimed that the Congress-led UPA government had "nothing to hide, nothing to be defensive about".

At the annual dinner for the ruling coalition's allies, Gandhi expressed her "deep disappointment with the way Parliament has been functioning".

She claimed that the people of India will "appreciate what we have done".

Gandhi also refuted reports of the Centre discriminating against states ruled by BJP and its allies, stating that it had provided assistance to all states.

She also threw her weight behind Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, saying, "The PM is carrying his responsibilities with great dignity. We stand by the PM".
