Vindoo made Rs 17 lakh on bets in IPL: Police

Times Now reports that Vindoo Dara Singh made Rs 17 lakh from betting in IPL 6. The police have so far maintained that Vindoo was involved in heavy betting, but have not indicted him in spot-fixing. Vindoo himself confessed that he had bet on IPL 6. While betting is illegal, he will still get off with a much lighter rap.

This morning, Vindoo's Juhu residence had been raided, where a bookie's phone was found. Vindoo's iPad and laptop have been seized by the police.Vindoo also confessed to the police that he helped two bookies escape.
