Temperatures will continue to risein North India: Met

With the summers setting in, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that temperature will continue to rise in the days to come and heat wave will grip parts of North India.

"The temperatures have gone up to three degrees above normal in most regions. Uttar Pradesh is right now the hottest in North India. Within a week East UP is likely to experience a heat wave," IMD official M Duraiswamy was quoted as saying on Tuesday. The Met Department further informed that Rajasthan has been the hottest in this season, with Churu recording a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius.
