Fate of Lankan players in IPL still uncertain

With just ten days to go for the high-profile Indian Premier League, the governing council of the T20 tournament is yet to take a decision on the participation of Sri Lankan players in Chennai, in view of the prevailing anti-Sinhalese sentiments in Tamil Nadu.

The BCCI is monitoring the situation and is also in touch with the state government. A final decision is expected to be taken soon.
