RDX used in 1993 blasts maximum since WW II: SC

The 1993 serial blasts in Bombay was the first terror attack in which RDX was used on a large scale since the World War II, the Supreme Court said on Thursday while dealing with the havoc caused by 12 coordinated explosions in the country's financial capital.

"This was the first ever terrorist attack in the world where RDX (Research Department Explosive) was used on a large scale basis after the World War II," the apex court said.
