Odisha law minister quits over dowry allegations

Odisha's Law Minister Raghunath Mohanty resigned today after a dowry case was filed against him by his daughter-in-law Barsa Swony Choudhary. Barsa has filed the complaint against her husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law as well, reports CNN-IBN.

In her complaint, Barsa has alleged that she was physically and mentally abused by her in-laws for dowry a few days after her marriage in June 2012.
