Uttarakhand rescue operations reach last leg

CNN IBN reports: The rescue operations in flood-hit Uttarakhand have reached their last stages and security forces are now focusing on saving around 2,000 people who are reported to be still trapped in the upper reaches.

Yesterday, Harsil was fully evacuated and 842 more people were airlifted from Badrinath as operations resumed after weather improved in the state.
